Pacific Northwest calling!
A shout out to Steve for accepting me to the Forum in such a timely and professional manner; it's a pleasure to be a part of the community. I certainly hope I can contribute something worthwhile over time.
Originally from Europe, I'm a retired Chief Petty Officer of 20 years with US Navy. Today, most of my free time is dedicated towards maintaining an online blog for the 78th Foot, 1757-63. Recently, I was able to secure digitals of Lord John Murray's (42 Foot) entire ledger book (1758-67), which is held at Lloyd's of London. The over 300 images are currently in post-editing (color balance, crop, etc.) and will be available to examine soon. Very excited to study the material and learn more about the regiment. However, as staring at old war records can become quite stale, I periodically insist on taking breaks from it all.
Currently delving towards indoor hydroponics; including growing tomatoes, cilantro, and lettuce to start. We'll soon see if I have the green thumb required to maintain an indoor garden or not!
Best regards,
Jeffrey
