    Seems I joined last year

Went to join and was told my user name was in use, duh, of course it was, by me. I had completely forgotten joining which says more than I will admit about my memory.

I am from Australia and my mother's family name was Duncanson, which is what led me to this site, I want to knit an afghan/blanket in the Duncan tartan. It is easy to find crochet patterns for this but not knitting and since I do not crochet has made my search more difficult.

i am hoping this is the place.

I'm glad you've found "self-discovery" among the rabble. May you also find the info on knitting the Duncan tartan. Good luck.
