Sort of New Member
Greetings all,
I joined XMTS about two years ago, but failed to introduce myself and join the discussions. mea culpa. The purpose of my joining was to get the X-Kilts directions/instructions. My first two kilts were "store bought" during the Dayton (Ohio) Celtic Festival.
Anyway, I've since sewn five X-Kilts (three box pleats and two RevK knife pleats). Two of those were for others who wanted their own kilt but are "sewing machine phobic." So, I used their kilts as practice and test kilts for slight modifications. I've also guided/helped three others sew their own kilts, while sewing my fifth kilt. My wife called our dining room a kilt sweatshop! There's nothing like four guys each bent over a sewing machine and furiously crafting their own kilt.
I look forward to contributing to this fine group of kilters.

Hello dea3369,
Welcome to XMarks from the other side of the Atlantic in Norfolk, England.
Next time you get four guys together sewing kilts - take pictures. It is something we all want to see!
