Tartan Day Project 1320
Dear Members;
My name is Bethany Bisaillion, and I am from Ottawa, Canada. My friend Bob Currie down in NYC and I have come up with an online project to celebrate Tartan Day this year and we thought we'd ask you all if you'd like to take part, and I think I have come up with some creative ideas to mark this occasion!
We have a Facebook page under the name Tartan Day Project 1320 where you can post a song on any instrument, recite a poem, and even talk about your family history and show off your tartan - everyone and all ideas are very much welcome! We'd love to see your posts there, and share with the internet Scots your great knowledge of your family history, interests, or just good taste in the Scottish and Irish arts!
We hope to see your posts, and wish you all well! Cheers!

Welcome to the "Great Rabble"!
Sounds like a great project. Why on Facebook? Why not here!

A great idea...
I think that's a fabulous idea! We just thought having it in one place would herd all the cats in the same direction. That's never easy, as we all know!

Right, thank you Troy. Tartan Day is not something we do up here. Those in the big cities---Edinburgh? Glasgow? Dundee?----- might, I am not sure.
