    Thanks Everyone!

    Hello,
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I got the Scottish National kilt from
Rocky that day at the Celtic Fling. I really love it and want to get another.
Does anyone listen to some type of bagpipe music everyday? I find myself turning off the radio on the way home from work and putting on some of my favorite bagpipe music. I like the pipes either with a group of other musicians or by themselves.

Welcome from PA. I was also in attendance at the Fling. What part of MD are you from?

When I was commuting from the north side of Denver to Colorado Springs and back each day and the traffic slowed to a crawl, I'd open the windows and crank the pipes up. Made for some interesting looks on the I-25 parking lot.

Never been on I-25. But sound's about like the I-15 parking lot I frequented daily a few years ago!

I do the I-25 thing often, and find that virtually anything Celtic is awesome.

I love the sound of pipes, be it great pipes, small pipes, uillean pipes, etc. I am especially fond of Irish Trad, but also appreciate Scottish folksongs, drinking songs, and some newer Celtic music as well.

I once played guitar in a Celtic band (we played mainly Irish traditionals) and miss it. Maybe it's time to start a new band
