Hi from another guy from Cowboy country. I lived in Alberta for many years. I always wanted to wear a kilt but I felt I would be out of uniform. ie Blue Jeans, cowboy boots arrowed shirt and a stetson. I know I should have had the fortitude to wear a kilt in public...Buy Wow.. the Red_necks.
Welcome to a place who will support you. This is a very friendly place. When I was living in Alberta and had I known that a work kilt was available I would have worn that. I live in Vancouver now and it is a multi-cultural city so I have no problem wearing my full heritage attire in most cases. I do dress the kilt down if I am out casually and dress it up if I am in a more formal situation.
I hope you find some guys who are also proud of there heratige and you support eachother.
Welcome to a great, friendly Form.+
