usage beatha toast to the Border Reivers!!!
Good Day from Jensen Beach, Florida! I am an off-kilter Scotsman with an ever present tilted-grin, lover of Scottish history, the lowlands and the highlands, player of pipes, drums, and horns. Stealer of hearts, and an all-around scoundrel.
An Armstrong and a Scott, both my father and my mother have visited their family lands. I hope to one day return and retire the my ancestral home.

A big welcome from Wellington, New Zealand.
My father was a Scott (born in London) before departing to San Fransisco as a baby, and then onward to New Zealand as a young boy with his brother and widowed mother. My mother a Simpson born in Dunfermline up to Shetland, back to the mainland and then onward to New Zealand as a young woman travelling with all but one of her siblings who had settled in Canada, and her widowed mother.
I had two weeks in Scotland in September 2017 and am very keen to get back and continue looking around. A wonderful place to visit.
