Well, welcome to you. I wish I had fallen in with a rabble like this when I was 17. (Come to think of it....maybe it's good that I didn't! )

Greetings!
You mention that you haven't received your kilt yet... is it on order? Where? What tartan? Enquiring minds want to know!

Hello and a warm from Boston, Massachusetts.
If you placed your order with Jerry.... Beware of flying packages. SWK + Click "order now" = on doorstep before receipt prints. Enjoy ye Rabble. Please take the time to explore the many forums and threads here. When you get your first kilt, explore the wearing of it. There are some helpful hints of dos and donts started by pour1malt, it will take some time to read. Practice sweeping the pleats and sitting, and getting back up so that the kilt is a natural, then head out into the public. There are some threads on handling some of the comments that may come your way. I only got favourable ones when I was your age... so many decades ago.

Welcome from CA. I hope your friends give you favorable responses when you finally get your Kilt. My students seemed pretty favorable when I wore one to school on St. Patrick's Day (I teach H.S. Biology and Earth Science)
Again Welcome and Cheers,
Marshal Moroni
