Welcome John Allen
Our 201st member, welcome, glad you found us, jump in and don't be shy, you can say anything you like but don't mention "skirts" (sorry, i said it).
You'll meet some fine and dedicated people here who are willing to share their inner secrets, fears, joys and stories about wearing the most wonderful garment in God's Creation, the kilt!

(PS- I tried to send him an email but it bounced, hence the invalid email...)

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome!
Thank you all so much for the warm welcome! That is so nice, I feel so welcome already. It makes being a newbee pretty exciting. Sorry I have been so long in responding to your generosity.
I am very new to kilts and want to get one soon and learn from you.
I have not been back here but two or three times since I joined at the nice invitation of "Lord Bubba" or "Sir Kilted Bubba" of the Kilted Knights! whom I met at Tom's Cafe. He has become a very dear friend and so has Bob Moore. The Cafe has become a very hostile unfriendly place. I promise to behave myself here to encourge you as you already have me.
Man I love the tone of this place!!
I am interested in Kilts and not all the other rhetoric.
I am ordering my first Kilt tonight but it is not a traditional tartan, hope you are not offended. I am going with a plain black AK, My next one will be a more traditional but also plain black or black watch.
I will wait to order while I learn more from all you kilted knights in pleats and armored sporrans before I decide.
I am about to take a mountain trip into the Blue Ridge and Smokys - twice in 3 weeks and hope to be "Kilted" the second time.
FYI to Sir Lord highlandtide, My email address is correct, but the email server I share with my friend blocks all mail from the major html mail sites like hotmail and yahoo. Your email address was put in the exception list so it should now get through but please send me a PM if it does not and tell me your address so I can make sure it gets through.
Thank you all again for such a very warm welcome. I love it here already!

John,
Glad to see you finally broke through! It is a wonderful place to gather and share a thought or two. As you can tell it is a fiesty bunch with a few ideas to share on most anything.
Cannot wait to hear about your kilted experiences and ideas!
Again WELCOME!!!

Thank you again Graham, I read most of your posts over at the Cafe and found we have some things in common besides kilts.

John, you might have me confused with someone else, I've not posted at the Cafe for quite a long time.
