Hi guys, thought I'd register and say hello to kilt lovers across the world.
This is the busiest forum I've seen on the highland wear subject and is clearly the best, too!
I don't mean to spam and if this message is taken as spam, please feel free to edit/delete it - I completely understand.
I found this site via our website stats on scottishkilts.net and was pleasantly surprised at the nice words many members have said about us.
Graham's post about receiving his replacement kiltpin has made me offer x marks the scot members help with making an official kiltpin.
scottishkilts.net's kiltpins and cap badges are all designed and cast by us and we can make custom designed kiltpins reasonably quick.
If you all decide that an official kiltpin would be something you'd like, we can have it moulded out from either artwork or a model that you design (we could help with the design work too if you like). There would be no cost for this service and a slightly discounted (from website prices) price for each kiltpin
Thanks,
Billy

Hi Billy, good to have you join us. I bought a kilt and accessories from your company awhile back and propmtlt told folks here about you. I was impressed by not only the quality but the speed of service. When I saw the Celtic Cross kilt pin I knew Graham would like it so I sent him to your site.
Thanks for the offer to make the board kilt pins. It might take awhile to settle on a design, but it looks like a great idea to me. We'll see what input develops

Hi Bubba,
I recall speaking with you, Graham and Alaskan. Very pleased we have had excellent feedback on here - where you guys are extremely knowledgeable about kilts.
Looking forward to being a member and exchanging stories and ideas :P

Billy

Billy,
Welcome to the board, and thanks for your willingness to work on the kilt pin!
After all of the great recommendations about your company, I'm leaning strongly towards purchasing a traditional 8-yarder from your company later this fall. It's great to meet someone behind what appears to be a remarkable company.
And no, I'm not trying to get in good for a discount.

I looked around and as far as traditional kilts are concerned, scottishkilts.net has great prices. I ordered my first one from them a week or two ago, and can't wait to see it (13oz 8yd).

Nice to see you here Billy, the help with a kilt pin sounds great, now I'm really getting excited about it.
What about a design competition? or just get the professionals. We'll see how you post goes on it Hank and where the design ends up.
Well Glen, see where your "tongue in cheek" comment is going ?? whoopee!!!
