Western Mass Scouter

Greetings! My name is Bill Macfarlane and as you can tell by the topic I live in western Mass. (About 15 mins away from New York State kind of Western Ma.) I also have a love of Scouting with 40+ years in one position or another. In fact, my first time wearing a kilt will be at a Scouting event call "The Scoutish Games".

I'm first generation American as my father was born in Scotland and came to the US as a small boy. I don't know much about my Scottish roots, since my grand father "Pharlin" did not approve of my moms family. (Her father was English.) So I don't have access to much family history.
