Vintage Thomas Gordon & Sons - Scott Red Kilt 36" W

For sale a true vintage Thomas Gordon & Sons kilt. Heavy wool, 16 oz approx. I believe the tartan is Scott Red. 36 inch waist. Being a true vintage piece made by a military supplier, the kilt was made to be worn higher up on the waist. It has a 26.25 in top to bottom length (or great for a tall guy). Pleated to sett. In good condition. There are a few flaws in the front apron, mostly a few broken threads in the sporran area and lining showing some wear. But still a very serviceable kilt with tight stitching and the legendary Thomas Gordon craftsmanship.

I have circled the areas of broken thread in one of the photos. These don't appear to be moth holes since they don't really show as thin spots when held to the light. Overall the condition is very good, especially considering the age.

I have had problems in the past with an Xmark buyer not reading the description/measurements and demanding a refund after the sale went through, I ask that you look at the pics carefully and ask any questions in advance. I have described the kilt as accurately as I can and am happy to offer more pictures, measurements etc. or answer any questions. I don't offer returns because it doesn't fit or someone changes their mind. Remember, this is a vintage piece and has some flaws as noted.
