Any feedback on the 5.11 TDK?
As my utility kilt got lost in the post and I got a full refund, I decided to get a 5.11 TDK. As it will be a couple of weeks before I actually get it as it's been delivered to my wife in the UK, I was wondering what 5.11 TDK owners thought of it and what sporran if any you use with it?

I have had one for over a year. Love it for just knocking around the house or hiking. Also like it when I go out photo shooting. Don't need a sporran because of all the pockets. As for cleaning a 5.11 TDK - wash, dry and hang - good to go!

I think you'll be very happy with your TDK. I've not heard anything but raves from guys who have them, they're well designed, and look good. A big step up from the cheap Pakistani kilts for sure.

Good, all positive. Shooting with a gun or a camera?

As stated before, I love my 5.11TDK's.
I've recently, started going without a sporran, not that I needed it with all the pockets. Just that I felt more comfortable wearing it, you more kilt-like than skirt-like.
The sporran that I wore with it was the "What Price Glory" military day sporran.
You do realize Mel, 5.11 is not selling these kilts currently and
You will have to find a used one. Fingers crossed that 5.11 will offer them again in April.

I already have it. Well my wife has it. I got it from Military 1st in the UK. No problems. I just have to wait until she comes home to Spain. I have one of Stillwaters night stalker sporrans I think it is. The black nylon zip up one which will go well with it. I didn't fancy having to tie 5.11's 6.6 pack on with para cord or something. Too much trouble. I, m not familiar with your sporran, I'll google it later.

I own 3 TDKs and usually dispense with a sporran, but the TDK does have a couple of handily placed D-rings which would serve as a fine attachment point. I'd suggest a couple of mini-carabiners attached to the 6.6 would be preferable to tying on with paracord.
'A damned ill-conditioned sort of an ape. It had a can of ale at every pot-house on the road, and is reeling drunk. "

I'll stick with the nightstalker, the 5.11 6.6 just doesn't look right. I have a 3/4 inch black nylon luggage strap which I use with it, it is simple and quick to just click on, although the mini carainers would probably also work with it.

The possibilities for tactical sporran attachment are awesome and many. Hangers or even a full sporran belt made with paracord would be really cool. You could also do something similar to a rigger's belt, but in 1" webbing, with ITW Tac Links instead of regular carabiners and a Cobra buckle to hold it all together. It would be the most baller sporran belt in existence. Hang an admin pouch on it and you're ready to operate.

I'm showing my age here, or maybe its an American thing but I don't know what a riggers belt is or ITW Tac links, or an admin pouch!
