Burgundy Rkilt
Just taken delivery of the first burgundy Rkilt and the first blue one is due to arrive next week. That will make 5 - black/brown/green plus the two new ones.
The leather on the new one is just sooooo soft.
Wearing it at work as I write.

You keeping Robert busy up there in the Great White North?
With the cold winter weather, and the fact that there's no NHL hockey, it'll PROBABLY keep him working and out of the bars!

I'll step in here. Yes they are leather, I have found the candy store of leather suppliers and the colours that are available to me are fabulous. I haven't put them on the website as it's special order and the cost is slightly more on average $75 per kilt more than the black or brown.
This stuff has been a treat to work with and the results are stunning. Yes I'm busy and have been putting in 14 hour days sewing to deal with the Christmas rush. But getting more folks in kilts is a joy!
Cheers

well, after reading two threads about leather kilts, I got my black rkilt out today,
put on my grey sweater and grey kilt sox,and brown/black hiking shoes, and took the dogs for a walk.
when I got home my wife gave me a funny look,
"what"? I said,
" it looks better with the grey sweater, but it's still a bit frankie" she said

As in Frankie goes to Hollywood?
I will post pix soon. I only have a trad camera and my partner and i both hate our pix being taken.
Im up in Pitlochry for Crimbo and New Year so there is a chance we might fill a film.
I am intending only to pack kilts..its gonna be a two week trouser free holiday. So there is a chance there may be one or two piccies of me in a leather kilt. Oh the anticipation....hehehehehe.
Im ready for my close up Mr De Mille.

You are seriously into leather aren't you!!!
I'd love to see some photos of the kilt too! It sounds fantastic, and I bet it feels even better to wear.
