Aside from the making kilts thing I do all day, I stayed late to wait for Steve from Freedom Kilts. he only had time for a coffee because he was off to Fort Langley to set up his booth for a show. He seemed like a nice guy but I wish we'd had more time to talk about techniques. I also got a call from Todd Wong of Gung Haggis Fat Choy. He and a CBC crew are coming by Monday to film part of a Gung Haggis Fat Choy special the CBC is filming. Looks like I'll be getting some nationwide exposure! I'm off to a whiskey tasting tomorrow evening at the armoury with a bunch of high brow types. Should be some good contacts there for the gathering in August. Speaking of The Gathering, I'd like some input as to what to call it. So far, it's A Gathering of Kilts.
Usually the words "kilts" and "exposure" in the same sentence are accompanied by a story about a bridal party, or high winds. THIS is great! Canadian Lads Against Pants In August everybody can go to Canada for "clap".
