Exclamation Complaint on UK phone service

Hello, I know that I am a new member, but something interesting happen to me today. I called UK at their Seatle store. I ended up in voice mail hell and never spoke to anyone regarding my order. Now that said, I have ordered in the past with no problems. According to their voice mail and online info they are open today. Yes, I don't use computer to order and pay, that is me. Are they too big now to be nice and talk to people. Other voice mail service direct you to an operator, not there service. There voice mail directs you a specific individual, unfortunatly I don't know if that person is working today. So I guess you have to call each extention until you find someone who answers the phone.

I guess customer service is out, well maybe that is the future no personal contact just email. Oh well, I guess they lost a sale in there boots. But who cares about 300.00 sale, apparently not them.

    Cheers.

    Jeez Louise,

I do so miss the days of Uncle Otto and C.J. at Utilikilts. I read the newsletters now and look at the new faces and it just ain't the same....

I keep having this recurring craving for the new mocha Survival II....but like you say, for that money I feel better talking to someone directly.

Hope its not a sign of them getting hammered by the economy...after all, when money gets tight for folks its gotta affect things like kilts that folks can go without for now.

That could be possible, I noticed they don't stock their socks and alot of their boots are unavailable. Hell maybe they are closed today and didn't change their website info. I just emailed to their sales manager, and no reply.

Their website says they are open Monday through Friday 9am to 6pm pacific. So you would get voice mail if you call when they are closed.

I thought that if you wanted to complain about UK phone service you should be talking to British Telecom, and wondered what it had to do with kilts, but then I realised you meant Utilikilt. It could be worse, you could have meant University of Kentucky.

Yeah, that took me a minute as well!

I thought that you meant phone service in the UK, not customer service by UK.

I'll admit that, for the first few months of my time here at XMTS, whenever I saw the abbreviation 'UK' I never realised they were talking about Utilikilts!

It took me a while to figure out that SWK meant stillwater kilts. I was like what on earth is a SWK?
