Do people look at YOU peculiarly on days like this?
I went to the Post Office, people looked at me like I was crazier than a pet Coon!

Yeah, that is crazy! Don't you ever put a leash on your dog?
Seriously though, your USAKilt looks great. I have the same Tara tartan and I thoroughly enjoy mine. You look like you're ready for a hike. Your beard lokks great too.

I get those looks all the time!
My neighbors thought I was nuts when I was shoveling snow in a kilt, and my Dad was pretty sure I had lost it when I walked to the post office when it was about 15*F. Nobody believed that my hands were a lot colder than my backside, even with gloves.
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

Walking out from a kilt night a few years ago in downtown Denver when it was -3*F I had my jacket open and a girl coming around the corner wearing jeans and a heavy ski jacket with her arms wrapped around herself to keep warm said "YOU'R CRAZY!!!" I just told her no, I'm VERY warm.

Well of course they looked at you like you're crazy, everyone knows that flat caps don't go with kilts!

It's those bare calves that give me the jitters. Looks a little chilly to me.

Irish Flat Caps always go with Irish Kilts
@thescot, I admit the calves are uber white, but they weren't cold. IF a wind had been blowing they probably would have been painfully cold.

You would think that women would understand this. A woolen skirt certainly must be warm on a cold night.

Yeah... but even if they do wear woolen skirts, they only have a fraction the wool as our full-on kilts...
