Ever heard of Practikilt?
http://www.practikilt.com/
Just stumbled upon it. Low prices, but they look kinda like UK knockoffs.

I'm not bold enough to buy one first. The urban camo looks interesting, though.

The website doesn't allow one to buy anything, not a good sign.

Ok, this is the third thread they've been mentioned in in as many days. weird.
I have no first hand experience with them, but according my research, they (with the possible exception of the leather one) are paper thin, poorly designed, and come in a 21" length only.
They can only be bought from museumreplicas.com, the links on the above site are just broken.

Geez, BP,
I shouldn't have to tell you that the search feature is your friend.

I think that's a trick of the lighting of that photo. The deep shadow along the bottom 2/3 of the wearer's left side of the apron suggests that it opens on that side, but if you look closely at the waistband I think you will agree that it opens on the wearer's right.

I wouldn't touch a Practikilt with somebody else's ten foot pole. Museum Replicas may have some good stuff on their site, but they don't seem to know a thing about kilts.
Gee, and I'm usually the anti-snob.
