I saw it coming and you STILL got me!

I just knew if you ever got me to get one of the traditionals I would be in trouble. The Clark Tartan Tradational Kilt just got here...

    I'm in trouble!

At first glance I could not believe what I was seeing.
    1. The fabric (PV) feels great and looks great also and without KNOWING what a wool tartan looks like this would 'slip under the radar'.
    2. The 3 buckles give it that sturdy look as well as that good heavy feel.
    3. The 1/2 inch band around the waist also gives it a great traditional look.

    4. The "hidden" strap hole is something not even my $600.00 kilt doesn't even have.
    5. The "hidden" belt loops, pleat seam stitching and pleating on strip make it looks...great is the only word I can come up with!

I could continue but the "traditional" name for this kilt fits.

Now I've got to come up with some spare change for the next tradational in Gunn! As I said above, I saw it coming but you still got me!!!!!

I'll get some PIC's this weekend and send you some.

    Thanks,

    Richard-

P.S. I guess I could call you a 'kilt pusher' now!

You keep this up and I'll be taking over my wife's side of the closet instead of her taking over my side!

Just posted 2 PIC's of the Clark/Clergy USAKilt traditional in my gallery and in USAKilt's section. The first is the 'normal' and second is a rear shot showing pleating on stripe.

Great Kilt. Wore it out and around today. Comfortable....well, you know the rest!

That fabric looks pretty light/thin, especially on the rear shot. Which type is it? (I know USAK has a few different types of fabric.)

    Andrew,

It's PV (Clark Tartan). It's the same weight of all of the other PV's that we have. Hope this helps.

    NICE!

That kilt looks pretty nice, Richard! I'm kinda partial to the tartan too (check out the name ).

Do you have any other USA Kilts? How are the casual and philabig lines? I don't see Clark on the usakilts site. are they out? I was thinking about getting 1 (around $100).

As a matter for fact I do have other USAKilts...
    1. Campbell Dress -wool-(Casual)*mothers side Clan
    2. Campbell Dress -wool-(Philabeg) *mothers side Clan
    3. Hunting Stewart -PV-(Philabeg)
    3. Black Stewart -PV-(Philabeg)
    4. Gunn -PV-(Philabeg)*fathers side Clan
    5. Clark -PV-(Traditional)

That's one of the good things about Rocky, as soon as he gets something new in he will post it here first. It might be some time before he gets it on the web. Another thing is if you are looking for something specific AND you know it's out in PV ask Rocky.

I love the Philabeg's but the traditional is winning me over everytime I put it on. I've had it 3 days now and I'm more impressed with it each day.

If you are considering a kilt from USAKilts I can't give them any higher recomendation than "I keep going back, and I'm alreading saving for the next traditional (Gunn)."

    RLJ-
