Found this while surfing. Might find a better price elsewhere on the net. http://www.themountainhideaway.com/s...d=1305&s_id=0&
Right! Does anyone know if they are pleated? Seen the question posted before but never answered.
Mael Coluim of Virginia St. Columba Voyage Clan MacCallum Malcolm Society
REI has the same kilt.
I've seen this for sale before in a few places on the Net--usually at hiking/outdoors sites. You never get to see the back and the "pleat shot." Anybody out there seen one live, or better yet, worn one?

I believe I read that it has no pleats. And kiltmen.com confirmed it. So unless they've changed the design in the last few years, no, no pleats. Of course, at that weight pleats would probably be a bad idea anyway.
This garment has no pleats. I've verified this with the resellers. "kilt" is their way of making this a uni-sex garment.
Perhaps they might claim to have a kilt-like garment.

Not to change the subject, but that Avatar is priceless...A picture paints a thousand words and if you're referring to the Mountain Hardware kilt not being pleated, then I'd say one look at that avatar says it all...LOL.
They didn't have pleats 4 years ago. That was the last time I checked on them (and the reason)
