my black workmans uk, first thoughts
well after i got the bag cut open with a proper cutting utensle<expensive out the front switchblade/automatic,microtech makora>, i gave it the once over and it looked damb good, i was and still am impressed, not only by the quality but with the comfertability aspect of it.
later that night around 8-9pm i took all my junk out of the shorts i had been wearing and put most of it in my uk workmans, it held everything i put in it and nothing has fell out even when i put my leg up on the table i want regimental until about 2-2:30am <yep i am a night owl> and then i finaly took it off and went to bed.
then this morning/afternoon <i sleep till noon daily> i put it back on although not regimental this time, i knew i would be hopping up on a table and did not want to flash my piercer.
it is the most comfertable garment i have worn around my waist ever, i am planing to go kilted all the time.
i am very happy with my new utilikilt and hopefullly i will be able to order more when money permits.
i also posted about the reactions i got on friday when i wore it in public, i have not seen a person in a kilt here in kcmo except the shriners pipes and drums group, i posted it in the general section.
thanks

Yo KC!!!
I was at the Irish Festival in Berkely Park last year, and was the ONLY person there in a kilt. Naturally, the KC women all asked the obligitory question... and got the answer.
I wore kilts for the entire weekend that I was there, and shocked a LOAD of people in Westport! I went down to Overland Park to see The Elders, and again was the only kilt around.
Feel free to come to Philly some time, and feel right in the mix!

Sounds as if you can become the kilted legend of Kansas City. Everyone will know who you are, you will become a legend. I've got my Workman's on right now. It seems like every time I do work around the house on it comes. I really love my Utilikilts along with my other kilts, and I can reassure you you will get more.

maybe kilted legend in kc
gman
yep i might eventually be known as the kilted legend of kc but i doubt i will get very many comments about it, i look kind of scary and the yuppies dont want to mess with me, i think it is the black clothes and long hair and beard, it might have something to do with the spike coming out of my labret<hole under my lip> too.
i figure i will get the usual comments behind me back though or when i am out of ear shout distance though, but i dont care.
but if someone wants to start some trouble with me than i am prepared. 8)

There's not too many guys out there willing to start anything with a guy in a kilt. Mostly because they're not willing to take the chance that they'll get their a$$ kicked by a guy in a skirt!!!
