OHHH... NOW I get it!
So I just got finished talking to Robert at R-Kilts. We've worked out a trade... I've been eyeing up his "Distressed brown" leather color. Well, I finally got my order in. He's been eyeing up theTweed Kilt and Vest, so I'll be making him one of them. So it's been a few hours and I'm already wondering if he's gotten the leather yet (even though he TOLD me he wasn't getting it until Monday). Now I know what you guys are talking about (jonesing). It's been a while since I ordered a kilt from someone else, so I'd forgotten what it was like.

I've found the best thing to help with a jones is to have a HUGE SALE

I will gladly put your tweed and vest in the mail as soon as it gets here. That way, I can say "I'm done YOURS... why haven't you finished MINE yet?"
BTW... we're down to about 6 weeks, but with the Patty's Day Rush we normally get (and the "rush charge" kilts), I'd say you're at about 7 weeks or so.

Competing kilt makers who are jonesing for each others stuff and not afraid to say it. Yet all our kilt makers are like this and justfiably proud of it. Is there any other industries that can say this?

It's beautiful, really. It brings a tear to my eye...in more than one way.
