Question about Sporran w/kilt at jeans waist

While still new at this, I've tried wearing kilts at both natural waist and jeans waist and found I'm more partial to the jeans waist. The problem I'm finding is in trying to wear a Sporran with a kilt at that height. Hiking it up makes it look funny in relation to a belt and giving it space below the belt bounces it against the bits & pieces. Anybody have a recommendation besides wearing the kilt at the natural waist?
    Thanks,

    . Don

Wearing a sporran with a jeans waist kilt is indeed a problem. The sporran chain will always end up going under your stomach and puckering the aprons.

May I suggest you try a mid-rise kilt with the top of the sporran just under the belt buckle.

All three of the following kilts are being worn at mid-rise.

    I wear the kilt because:

Having to wear mine at jeans waist, I use short sporran hangers / frogs on my belt. The sporran hangs just beneath my belt buckle. Let the belt be a bit loose if wish to lower the sporran a bit.
Steve - It's nice to know about the apron rumpling thing as I was thinking of finding a smooth chain and giving it a go. Thanks!

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.
