Show us Your Favorite Contemporary Sporrans
I'll start it off...
Here's my favorite contemporary sporran:

It's an Eddie Brat Leather original. Found here: http://www.eddiebratleather.com/
Not one of his wildest by far, but still far from traditional.
The quality and workmanship is incredible. All hand made.
Let's see your favorites!

That is beautiful.
OMG. I just looked through the website. A bit on the "pricey" side - but some wonderful looking products there. I'll be adding one of those to my wish-list, for sure.

I'm having Donnie of Wyvern Leatherworks to work on my custom sporran. I really can't wait to see how it turns out! I think I will get it in the mid-July.

Donnie is doing one of his Celtic Cross sporrans for me. Not sure the delivery but fairly sure it won't be today.

Since we are like a few miles apart.. We should get together to compares, and being in awe of Donnie's works. It'd be great to take a few pictures for Donnie's customer gallery!

I guess this would be the most contemporary of my sporrans. It is sting ray and makes quite an impression in person. Donnie at Wyvern Leather made it for me.

Before I even started making my own sporrans (mostly because I'm cheap) I started a folder of photo screen caps of interesting sporrans that I found on the web, for inspiration. These are some of the nicer contemporary ones. I didn't keep track of who made or sold them, but they offered a quality and craftsmanship level to shoot for. Super clean workmanship. The tartan one is kind of funny. I figured that I would hate the concept, but even though I would probably never wear one, it seems nicely and attractively done. Some very nice tooling represented as well, which is something way beyond my pay grade.
