Utilikilt Deal, But is it Real?

I ordered a used Utilikilt on E-Bay last week, and it just arrived. It looks and fits great!

Looking at it a little closer, I wonder if it is the real deal, or a good counterfeit. I already own a couple Utilikilts, so I am somewhat familiar with them. It may be an old and/or experimental style that I am not quite familiar with.
    Note the:
1). Old style 6 button apron with the floating waist
2). Serged hem instead of sewn (see arrow in attached picture)
3). Extra bit of sewing in the center back (circled in the attached picture)
4). Feels like 100% cotton, not the usual 65%/35% Poly/Cotton

The logos and tags all seem right, so it otherwise really does seem to be the real thing.

So, did I get a good deal, or was I (and Utilikilt) taken?

I suppose the answer to weather or not you got taken is, does it fit, and how much you paid! Most of all do you like it? I like the 65% fabrics they are using now better than the 100% cotton because of the wrinkle factor. Ebay has been good to me. They sure don't come cheap for a utilikilt. I must say they are pretty nice compared to some of the Pakistan ones.

They did experiment with the serged hems and other ideas in 2007 and earlier. I have two vintage Utilikilts with serged hems - one the Original Old Standard made in 2003 the other a Jean Cut made in 2007. My Original old standard has the stitching you show but it has it all the way around the rump line. Yours is probably genuine. It DOES have the Logo stitched on the rear pocket - either the straight triple F or the circle triple F ? Both of these logos are copywrited. Steve was fighting poachers even back then.

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.

Thanks tundramanq! I had not seen the serged edge before. It definitely has the Utilikilt logo on the pocket with a Utilikilt size tag. So, it looks like it may well be the real deal!
