You guys are rough!!
OK, so I have been here for what - a bit over 24 hours. And I have decided that I canna wait on the White Thistle kilt to arrive. So, I have PM'ed Rocky with some questions and with any luck, will be ordering a kilt from USAK in the next few days.
Didja all have to feed my addiction like this? Didja all have to give such glowing reviews of Rocky's product? Was it that important to see me separated from my meager savings?
I can only imagine Rocky's expression when he reads my PM - What about this tartan and that tartan and maybe one of those and a Victory and, and, and...
It's Friday evening, the weather for the weekend is predicted to be fantastic and I am nosing and sipping a 10-year Speyburn single malt. Whilst perusing XMarks. Does it get any better than this?
Peace,
Mike

In general, no life doesn't get much better than this.

Speyburn is actually really good, though I prefer Oban 14 year or Laphroig 10.

So, will I be winning something along the lines of a new Victory kilt? Hmmmm??? Surely there must be some form of "recognition" for my rapid decline...

Oh, aye, I watch every drop. 'S embarrassing to go getting all the carpet fiber in your mouth when you slip up and spill some, you know...

I was talking to a fellow at a clan tent, a couple of weeks ago at a Highland Games. We had several things in common, so we had chatted a while and I had noticed a bottle sitting on his table. You guessed it, it was The Macallan. When I told him that I was not leaving until he had cracked it open, he laughed and informed me that the bottle was full of apple juice and was just there for effect.
Damned rotten trick to pull, in my way of thinking! I was primed for a dram, or two. Or four...
Tonight I am nosing The Glenlivet, a 12-year. I know that Michael Jackson (no, not that one) ranks The Glenlivet higher, yet I believe I enjoy my 10-year Speyburn more. To each his own, I suppose. Slainte!!
Peace,
Mike
