Hi, How important is it, to have the waistband attached firmly over the top edge of the kilt? In order to get the tartan in the waistband in a straight line, I have a few parts of the waistband where I still have some space left. So the waistband sits a bit loose over the top edge. Nothing disturbingly but I just wondered if this gives the top edge enough room to unravvel under the waistband? Or will the single-line stitching of the Canvas keep it from unravveling? regards, Tómmes
Here's an image of the attached waistband.
Looks fine to me - as long as the top band is stitched on securely and encloses the raw top edge of the kilt, there isn't any way for the top to ravel.
