I originally posted this in the kilt advice section, but thought I'd try here too. Does anyone know of a good tailor/kiltmaker in Minnesota (Minneapolis/St. Paul) that can let my kilt out? I ordered the kilt from Scotland a couple of years ago, and it needs to gain an inch or two for comfort. I was thinking that any qualified tailor should be able to sew longer belt straps on it, but I thought I'd see what you think. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Don't know if you want to go there but there are small extension straps for the kilt straps available. If the "expansion" is going to be temporary....that might be a more expedient solution. Just do a web search and the kilt expanders will show up. Best AA

I had the local shoe repair shop make a couple sets for me. That way you can pick out the bouckle and ensure that you get the length and color that you want.

If the ladies at Bent Needle Designs can't help, I'll give these a try. Thanks.
