    Ancient Campbell in PV Pictures?

Does anyone have any good pictures of the ancient Campbell in PV from USAkilts. I am trying to get an idea how the colour comes out in the PV material. I am in the deciding mode for my next kilt

No pictures--but the PV Campbell looks great. It's in my closet next to a 10 oz wool kilt and the colors are the same. The PV is from USA Kilts, btw.

EDIT--that should have been a 13 oz wool kilt.

If I'm not mistaken USAKilts uses Marton Mills' PV, in which case here's a photo of a very similar tartan: Murray of Atholl, which is essentially Campbell with red stripes added. Here's a photo of Marton Mills PV (top) and 16oz wool (bottom). It's a tricky one to photograph, because the colors seem to want to either wash out (which they did just a little bit here) or appear darker and more saturated than they are... but in person they're quite pleasing.

BTW, you can always send us a SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope) and we can send you a swatch of the Campbell Anc. Just be sure to indicate what tartan you're looking for a swatch of when you send the SASE.

This tartan looks really nice in that photo Rocky, I will be buying a casual kilt for home and hiking then I will probably buy the same tartan in semi traditional for when I go about my daily business. So far I have been loving this material and have been wearing my casual around the house every day since getting the kilt and the semi traditional whenever my wife and I go out. One thing I love apart from the comfort of the material and it quality is that it doesn’t crease up badly when sitting down.
