Buying from USA Kilts
Yesterday, my husband and I were at the Fresno Scottish games. It was 100 degrees. I regretted not wearing my very cool USA Kilt, and my husband bemoaned not having any kilt that light weight. When we got home, I got out the measuring tape, and had him look at tartans. He selected a casual kilt in the Irish National tartan. (He loves borrowing my casual kilt, because the velcro makes it easy to get on when he wants to wear a kilt, but doesn't have lots of time), and I selected the Semi-Traditional in MacLeod Dress. I spent a bunch of time with the MacLeod's yesterday (one of my student's parents runs the MacLeod's presence at the highland games throughout California). I love their tartan, which I have no connection to. The family encouraged me to get the Loud MacLeod if I would wear it, so I did. Now I must see how calmly I can wait six to ten weeks for Rocky and team to work their magic.
I'll post pictures when everything arrives!
Cheers
Chris

Ron,
Thank you for the pictures of the completed products. I'll try not to be too jealous that you have them already. I can wait patiently. At least, I think I can. At least, I'm supposed to. Have 6 to 10 weeks passed yet?
How about now?
Are we there yet?

Eight Weeks you say, well that means seven weeks and 2 days to go.

Good for you! I was at USA Kilt's shop last Saturday and got measured for the semi-traditional in Ancient Campbell. I bought matching flashes and paid a tad extra for quicker delivery. I can't wait to get it and post some pics. Basically though I want to wear it and get more into a kilted lifestyle.
