It is dangerous living this close to Rocky's store ...
So, Rocky send out an email last week about the new website and asking for people to check for "glitches" on the new site,
I decided to check out the "sales" page for any "glitches" and saw Celtic Nation ex-hires for $299 (reduced from $495) and look, there is one in my size!
I did find some minor glitches on the site, so of course I decided to drive the 45 minutes to USA kilts, to let Rocky know about those glitches in person, and just in case that ex-hire still happened to be available.
Luckily there was glitch that I did not catch - the ex-hires were $275, not, $299, so I walked out with an 8-yard 13-ounce wool Premier kilt (that does not appear to have ever been worn) for a ridiculously low price!
I have not had the chance to take any photos yet but hopefully soon!

Congratulations! One of these days, I plan to visit Rocky's shop and check all the items in person.

I've had only positive experiences with ex-hire kilts. The ones I have seem to be good quality, look like they're brand new, and are, from what I can tell, the best bang for your buck kilt-wise. Good to see someone else getting a good kilt for a knock-down price.

Dutchy,
Something tells me that you and I would wear, about, the same waist size. I had been eyeing those same kilts, and especially a particular one. I looked yesterday, and the one I drooled over was gone. LOL Oh well, I guess I just did not move fast enough. Enoy your new kilt. I know it is great because I have a 5yard kilt in the same Celtic Nations. And I love it.

It only takes me about half an hour to drive to USA Kilts plus I have to pass it to get to my friend's house so there is temptation galore here . If anyone has a chance to go to the shop do it !

Gas up your vehicle, put snacks in a tote, your drivers licence in you pocket and your wallet in your top dresser drawer, then head out to visit your friend.
Wave at Rocky and Kelly as you drive by. Toot your horn hello, if you are having a hard time keeping your wheels pointed down the road - have to keep your hands busy!
Have a good time at your friends and return home after Rocky is closed. Good luck

I live in PA, but on the opposite side of the state. Thank God! To USA Kilts is about 3-4 hours. Good thing he's that far away, or else I'd be there quite a bit.

I've had my eye on one of their Celtic Nations ex-rental kilts. It is a very good thing that I don't live near their store!
