    Different kind or Jonesing

About two weeks ago I received my USA Kilt Semi-traditional kilt in Stewart Hunting. I love it! Now I can't wait to get a Casual Kilt in Stewart Black. The Jonesing is actually saving up the money to place the order. I will probably switch to the normal Jonesing once I place the order; which will likely only be a couple of weeks away. Not as long as the wait once the order is placed, but having made the decision the wait it no different.

I would post pics of the semi-traditional kilt but I'm on my iPod right now and that makes some things more difficult (maybe because I'm not that familiar with apple thinking). Besides, I do still need to get a pleat shot.

Rocky, just so I know, how would you pleat the Stewart Black in a casual kilt? Sett or stripe?

Edit: Now in the normal Jonesing mode; order placed.

Sadly, I know what you mean. I have been eyeballing a 5-yard wool for a few months now. I almost purchased a Campbell Modern for only $320. Then I had to replace my windshield ($250)and battery($90). Now I am rebuilding my "Mad Money" with hope of placing the order before the end of Sept. I only have four kilts at this time and that is down right unacceptable.

Well said! Four kilts is FAR too few! In fact, 8 kilts is too few for my taste!

You know exactly what I mean. I also hope to rebuild my Mad Money by the end of September in order to place an order. Only I've got my eye on a casual kilt, not the 5 yard deal. That will come later.

Sadly, the semi-traditional is my only tartan kilt (I also have a Utilikilt and camo X-kilt). In addition to the USA Casual kilt, I hope to soon add a couple of box pleated kilts to the closet that I would make myself. I have TAoK and experience with a couple of X-kilts, so hopefully I will do a fair enough job to actually wear them out somewhere.

I just placed my order , now switching to the normal kind of Jonesing .

I just got paid for a couple of gigs back in June that I had written off as volunteer work; that was a nice blessing.
