Fast at home, fast overseas, new semi trad

On 10 April 2012, after reading the many great testimonials to Rocky’s semi traditional kilts, I put in an order for one. As I regularly travel to the tropics I wanted a kilt that I could easily wash and dry. I chose the Anderson tartan as it is the family tartan of “she that must be obeyed”. I also wanted it pleated to the stripe and sent Rocky a photo of the way I wanted it done. I also took up the “out the door in two weeks” option.

Well, it was out the door in four days, and was at my local post office 8 business days later (not being content to have it out the door in 2 weeks, Rocky had it in my hands in 2 weeks) and that’s here in the land Downunder

Not having ever seen a semi trad in the flesh, I had no idea what the workmanship or finish was like. Well everything turned out spiffing, all pleats superbly done, aprons neat and even, good quality buckles and straps. A pleasant surprise was that the PV material feels heavier than I was expecting. According to enclosed green form, Mac made the kilt and I say thankyou for the fine workmanship.

I have no hesitation, along with tons of others on the forum, in recommending the USA kilts Semi Traditional as a top quality all rounder.

A couple of pics (yes I know, I should be wearing it but you just have to wait)

Thankyou to all the staff at USA kilts that had a hand in creating this kilt.

Congratulations, Mike! It's a beauty. I love the choice of pleating, VERY striking.

Good job Rocky & co. as well for what must be a record delivery for a custom kilt made and delivered halfway round the world.

The more pleating to the stripe I see, the more I like it!

Aye, when I got here there was sooooo much hype about USA kilts I figured it was just that - hype. The posters were shilling for Rocky....etc etc etc....

After about a year of "enduring" all the posts about how great USA Kilts were I risked ordering one....

Now I just ordered my 28th USA kilt. Dang...they were right.
