Hand Knit Hose
Hello All,
I am about to order from our "hand knit hose lady" and since I was placing the order, I am able to take "custom colors" that we don't normally get, at no extra charge to you. If you're interested, the price is $60 for ANY of the colors on the yarn color sheet below.
Also, if you'd like a cable knit sweater in a matching color, we're able to do that as well... price for a sweater ("Crew Neck Pullover") is $150 to $170, depending on size.
I realize there is a "divide" in the people who think matching the hose and sweater is being "too matchy - matchy". This is not a thread for opinions on that topic, but for those who are interested in hose and/or sweaters to see what colors are available.
This announcement (being able to piggy-back on the order to get it without higher "custom" pricing) is only valid until Sunday Sept 5th at 11:59 PM.
On to the color selections... (I apologize for the slight blurriness of the letters... it's the way my scanner picked them up since the yarn swatches pushed the paper off of the scanning surface)

To place an order, please give us a call at the shop: 610.935.3444

So does that mean, after Sept. 5th, there will be an additional charge for ordering colored, hand knit hose? Or can we wait till you order again? Sorry for not quite understanding. I recently ordered a Gunn Weathered from you, and it's on the way. I wanted to order hand knit hose to match the kilt, but for financial reasons, and because I wanted to see the kilt to match the hue, I decided to wait. Thanks for your response, and the great work you all do. I am really stoked and "antsy" to receive this kilt! I don't know which is worse, the wait for the order/production time, or knowing it's finished, and waiting for the postal service!! ha ha
Regards,

I missed it too. Have a pair of the hose and they are incredible - thick thick thick - and purdy too. Been too hot to wear them for a picie. Top quality.

Based solely on Ron's review, I may be giving the shop a call in a week!

I've been down to the shop and seen the Jannette Murray Hand knit hose in the cream color, and I must say, they are beautiful. I was looking for a color to match the Gunn weathered. Perhaps the lovat blue, or grey, I don't quite know for sure. But they are really well constructed, and just beautiful in the natural color he has there. I love the ones Rocky is wearing (with Kelly) on the website cover picture.

I think I got a couple pairs of that color, some lovat green, some bottle green, etc. A few colors to mix it up a bit.
