    Hey Rocky...

    Hey Rocky,

What is the best way to wash a casual kilt?

Well, I'm not Rocky, but if you are talking about a USAK made with PV, then just throw it in the washer with cold water. Short dry time in the dryer on low heat, then hang it up, or just hang it up. I find that a quick tumble dry with low heat lets everything fall into place with no ironing.

I ain't Rocky either but I have a passle of casual kilts.

I wash in cold water, gentle cycle, hang dry on three hangers across the shower rod. I use weighted clips on the bottom of the pleats so the kilt dries with no need for ironing.

    Works for me.

One thing you both forgot to mention...

    NO FABRIC SOFTENER.

    Basic wash instructions are :

Cold water Gentle Cycle with no fabric softener
    Hang dry
Steam Iron on Medium setting as needed.
