A kilt to middle school?! That's like wearing meat pants into the lion enclosure.
He definitely rocks.

Gotta love the bay area. We're much more accepting of differing ways of dressing than much of the country, (Illinois or Missouri, for example). My 14 yr old 8th grade son probably wouldn't wear a kilt, but he said "looks cool" the other day when I tried out my new sporran and kilt belt.
He looks great! Wish more would start wearing it early.

Very fine looking lad! You put him in white hose just to be a pain, didn't you? :P

Now, now. Let's not start judging states or even metro areas based on the decision of one redneck school principal (I am assuming of course, that you are referring to the latest prom thread). My son and many of his high school friends wear kilts to school on a very regular basis. The St. Louis area, and most everywhere else I've been in MO, are VERY kilt friendly. Much more so than SoCal (where I lived for 18 years). Though I will agree that the occasional times I was in the general Bay area, I was impressed with the diversity and apparent acceptance by all of said diversity.

Jamie, that is a crackin' photo. He looks like a most confident young man. He does you and Star credit Sir.
