    I got a package today!

Hooray for me! I got a kilt in the mail today! I was just pulling into the parking lot at work (I work afternoon shift) when my wife called and said it had arrived. Talk about a long day. Anyhow, I unpacked it tonight and took out the basting stitches. Then of course i tried it on. Fits like it was tailor made. Well, maybe that's because it was, but I digress. The important thing is that I now have a kilt to wear.

It's an 8-yard knife pleat, 16oz in the MacKay modern.

Pics will follow when I have a chance to upload them.

There is nothing better than seeing no bills in the post box and a kilt waiting for it's owner.

I have a wonderful kilt made by USA kilts as does the wife!

Great work at a great price!

    Enjoy!

Pictures will be along shortly. The tartan is MacKay, my wifes' family. I've no scottish heritage, I'm german, so I went with the closest thing to a family tartan. Her family in Phoenix is demanding pictures, so I will send them west and also online here on Friday.
