At last, pics of my new Tara semi-trad
Last Saturday I picked up my first tailored tartan kilt from the USA Kilts store in Spring City,PA. It's a semi-traditional in the Tara tartan, and finally after a very busy week, I managed to have some pics taken while wearing it for the annual Yule Party my wife and I host. So, without further ado:

I'm extremely pleased with this kilt, and received quite a few compliments on it from friends and family. Thanks again to Rocky and the crew at USA Kilts!

That's a great looking kilt. I was just considering that same tartan.

Looks good. I considered that tartan for my last kilt. It might be my next one though.
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

Thanks for the kind comments all! I thought long and hard over which tartan to go with, but once I saw the Tara up close in the shop, I knew it was the one. Perfect for the Yuletide season too! I fully intend to wear it to the Winter Solstice observance at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Lancaster tomorrow night.

Congrats on your new kilt. It's very nice.
It's interesting to see that you'r using the Germanic/Norse word Yuletide og as we here in Norway say Juletid.
God Jul (Merry Christmas)
