    My Colquhoun ancient arived yesterday

So, like the title says my 8 yd Colquhoun kilt arrived from USA kilts yesterday and it looks great. Made for me by Rocky from the Marton Mills wool that was on sale a few weeks back. It's 13 oz/yd so it's actually not a lot heavier than my 5yd 16 oz kilt. Pictures to follow soon but tonight we're going out on the river to watch our Amercan neighbours celibrate the 4th of July.

I'd like to see some pictures if you get a chance. I have a couple of 13oz kilts and they are absolutely fine. A little bit tricky if it's blowing a proper gale but other than that...

Blimey, you're right on the border in Mallorytown aren't you...

I'd like to see some pictures of that too.

I'll do what I can on both counts John. We can see Northern New York state from our front windows. The St.Lawrence river is about 2.5 miles wide at this point. We boated up river to watch the fireworks at Alexandria Bay NY last night. From the Canadian side of the border of course.

Ok, so if I remember how to do this we should have some photos here in the next few minutes. Fireworks were great but I spent most of my time watching the GPS to make sure I didn't drift aground. Mrs.Crash enjoyed it though and as they say "happy wife happy life". You will see northern New York State in the back ground. This is right in front of our house.

I really like the pleating you chose, it gives the kilt a very different look depending on whether one is viewing the front or the rear. Very sharp! cheers, Nick

Very nice kilt, I'm sure you'll get lots of good use out of that one! BTW I really like the hose too. I see you are wearing flashes, if you get the chance try hand tied garters, you'll appriciate the comfort.

Nice kilt, nice outfit, and nice setting. That tartan blends seamlessly into the environment. You look great!
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
