My very first kilt ever!

I just ordered my very first kilt on Dec. 31, 2011 from USAKilts! I got a casual kilt in American Heritage tartan. I can't wait until it gets here. 6-10 weeks is going to seem like an eternity!

I have a Sporran I ordered off of eBay, as well as a kilt pin. I was just going to wear regular t-shirts, socks, and shoes with it. But, your assistance/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do try to at least get a pair of hose. Dressed up or down, in my opinion regular socks just don't cut it. Wear your hose up with shoes and scrunched down with boots - hiking, work, combat (no flashes).

yes, I strongly recommend 1 or 2 pair of kilt hose. There will be times when you will prefer them to your regular socks. And also at least one pair of flashes tp go with them.
The wait for the kilt will seem interminable but it will be well worth it in the end.
