Thumbs up New Argyll and Vest

Just received my new Argyll and Vest from Rocky at USA Kilts http://www.usakilts.com/store/cart.p...t_detail&p=133. They were a Christmas present from my wife. When I called Rocky to place the order we discussed sizes. These Scottish style jackets and vests run a size smaller than American sizes so be sure to order one size up.

On the website the Argyll and vest combo look like they could possibly be brown, but Rocky assured me that they are black. They arrived in time for Christmas, and I must say the fit and construction of these are very nice indeed. I was somewhat skeptical when Rocky told me how much of a sale he was running on them about the quality of construction, but was pleasantly surprised when I got to wear the jacket and vest Christmas morning. The jack label states that it is wool, and a very nice heavy weight wool at that. The vest has a sizing ribbon at the back, but fits very nicely without having to make any adjustments to it. For Christmas morning at my parent's house I paired the new Argyll and waistcoat with my New Caledonian 8 yard kilt, lovet green hose, and a black wool tie. I must say it was quite the hit with the family.

If you are looking for a custom fitted kilt jacket then you may want to look at other things that Rocky has to offer, but if you are looking for a quality product at a great price then definately check this out. Rocky told me that he had received a shipment of 100 of these combination packages, which by the way also come with a complimentary cloth storage bag. I'm definately looking forward to being able to wear this jacket again. Thanks Rocky!

    Congratulations, sounds great.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
