    New Holyrood casual

Just received my new Holyrood casual from USA Kilts-- looks great, and got several compliments from my wife. It's much crisper than the inexpensive acrylic kilt I use for hiking. I'll try to get a photo up soon.

A fine tartan and a wonderfully versatile kilt. Rocky's casuals are tough enough that your hiking kilt might just receive its pink slip. Looking forward to your pics!

Congratulations! The Holyrood is one of my favorites, too. Can't wait to see your pic.

I'm gonna set the bar pretty low for you. Below is a picture of my brother in his USA Casual Holyrood. I know you can beat that, especially with him wearing those oh-so-kilt-hire white hose. I think they were a gift from me.

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Angstrom , Holyrood is a beautiful tartan , you made a good choice .

Mookien , I am shocked , you gifted white hose to your brother ! As brothers do ... I can only imagine the conversation .... " here you go brother , I have some new kilt hose for you ... they are the only proper hose ... be sure and wear them with every kilt " .

Bloody clairvoyant! That's almost exactly how it went! I pulled them off after a long, hot day at the Pleasanton Games, threw them across to my brother and said, "Keep 'em. They go with almost any kilt."

You see, Mum used to give him baloney sandwiches and I always got peanut butter. Ahh, but the strawberries that's ... that's where I had them. They laughed at me and made jokes, but I proved beyond a shadow of a doubt and with ... geometric logic ... that white hose DID exist and were universally loved ...

I won't enter into the discussion "ercru-o-phobia", but I will congratulate you on the choice of the Holyrood tartan. I've always liked the look of it!

    Cheers...Bill

The discussion of "ercru-o-phobia" is kind of an inside joke. You had to be there, ... at the court-martial.
