New Plaid Broaches
Some weeks ago, Rocky got in touch with me. He had seen at a trade show, a beautiful, albeit pricey plaid broach he though I might be interested in. High quality pewter, made in USA, intricate lovely Celtic workings, and the grabber for me, a Star of David in the center. Bought the large for me, and a smaller version of the same thing for Michele. They are truely lovely. I even used the large one as a tallis (Jewish prayer shawl) clasp when going to Sabbath services. Smart fellow, that Rocky, and knows his customers. Anyway, I notice he now has several broaches on his websitge I believe are from the same source, the workmanship looks similar. They are the top three here: http://www.usakilts.com/index.php/ki...d-brooches.htm
These are what I would call heirloom quality pieces of work, and tho dear, I believe worth it. And when a Jewish Celt is willing to spend the shekels, you know the price is right!
