    New USAK Grey Granite Semi-Trad!

Just received my Grey Granite Semi-Trad in the mail today! That was fast! It was made on Saturday, shipped out on Monday and I got it today (Wednesday!)

I love the tartan, it was exactly what I was hoping for! Kelly made this one, and she did a great job! I was a little apprehensive that I may have measured wrong (even though I measured at least five times), but the fit is perfect. She even left a little bit of extra fabric under the apron, in case I ever gain some weight and need to have her it let out bit. I like the PV fabric, and I think it'll be just right for the upcoming Summer months, although I was a bit surprised at how warm it still is. It's got great swish and swing, too!

I am completely happy with this, and USAK was a real treat to work with. I will DEFINITELY be ordering more kilts from them, and it's no surprise that have the reputation that they have!

Thanks, Kelly and Rocky! Your kilts rock! I'll be posting pictures as soon as I can get some taken!

Yeah, I tried to take some with my cellphone, but I couldn't hold it out far enough in front of me to get a full body shot! My girlfriend is supposed to come over tomorrow, so I'll have her snap a few then!

Wow... 2 days to Colorado from Philadelphia!?! That's pretty quick for Priority Mail!

Glad that you're so pleased with the kilt.

Congratulations, and thanks for the review.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Well, I could've gone on forever, but it's hard to top all of the other excellent reviews and kind words about USA Kilts, so I just tried to be concise. I'm really ecstatic about the kilt, but couldn't find the right words to describe just how much I love this kilt.

My only complaint is that, instead of just walking two feet over to my door (which is RIGHT next to the mailboxes!) my mail carrier decided to CRAM the package into my mailbox. Apartment mailboxes aren't designed for that, especially when there was a bunch of other mail too! That's certainly not USAK's fault, but my mailman has really been pushing my buttons lately. Oh well, the kilt was perfect and wasn't creased at all, so it hadn't been in there too long.

At first I was afraid that I measured wrong, because I have to use the first (inner) holes on all the straps, but then I realised that I'm never going to LOSE weight (I'm 5'2", 30 years old and weigh about 120lb. If I ever lost weight, I'd be afraid!) So I've got plenty of room to grow in case I ever procure a beer belly or something. Besides the kilt looks just fine, doesn't look bunched up I'm not worried about it anymore.

I also forgot to mention...I believe this is pleated to the sett (I didn't specify when ordering), which looks really good with this tartan, for anyone that's wondering! I'll get some pictures up tomorrow!

Congratulations on being in the Rocky Fan Club. I am overjoyed with the fit of my kilt. Pics in Usa Kilts Rocks thread. I hope you get many, mmany years out of it. I remember 120 lbs. That is what I was from eleven years old till I turned fifty... I am 6'1" and now 57, and 185 lbs.

Sorry guys, didn't get a chance to take photos yet! My girlfriend came over this weekend, even brought her camera, but we completely forgot (we were otherwise occupied!) But she did love the kilt, and kept kilt-checking me every chance she got (at home anyways...I told her not to do that when other people were around!) Anyways, I'll get some pics up soon!
