Ordered my first kilt!
I plunged, and submit my first kilt ever for an order at USAK after a phone call with Rocky.
Cannot wait for my American Heritage Tartan Semi-Tradition kilt along with a beautiful pin sporrans, an American Eagle belt buckle, a belt, and etc etc.
I'm Deaf, and I am surprised to see the subtitles on USAK's videos which is very helpful. Rocky provided a top-notch service of understanding that I'm Deaf, yet provided answers for my questions. I'm going to refer USAK to my fellow Deaf friends if they want a well-made kilt!
So.... Can two weeks come by in a hurry???

Congratulations on the order. Don't worry the 2 weeks will fly by. We will all be very anxious to pictures of you in the kilt. Just don't break the camera with your very wide smile once you see the kilt.

First thing, once you get the first one it is downhill from there. There will always be one more tartan, one more kilt....so be prepared for the ride.
On a second note, I own an American Heritage tartan kilt and I really like it. You also bought from Rocky and he makes a quality product and is a good man to deal with.

I placed my first order just last night (my wife authorized me to do so, as a birthday present), likewise from Rocky, and I understand the anticipation!

I am confident that you will appreciate - and enjoy - your first kilt purchase.
I, too, have one of Rocky's American Heritage kilts, but in the casual design. I also have his Celtic Nations in both casual and 5-yard wool. I just (today) returned from a 10 day cruise to the Eastern Caribbean and wore both tartans about half my time aboard and ashore, favoring the American Heritage. I received many compliments and serious questions about both of Rocky's creations.
If you are too busy to laugh, you are too busy.

sailortats is spot on in stating two weeks will fly by. During the "jonesing period" take time to occupy yourself with other distractions. Today is PI (think math terms) day; 3-14-15. Celebrate with all the "love it or hate it" most school children demonstrate. Then there is Mother's Day (UK) on the 15th, St. Patrick's Day on the 17th and the Vernal Equinox on the 20th. I expect Rocky will get the order to you before Palm Sunday on the 29th. But just in case, that is an additional diversion.
I hope the twenty seconds of reading this gave you some relief from the anticipation.

I knew I'd be eager with anticipation, but I really didn't expect the jones to be this intense... and I've still got another 6+ weeks to wait!

That's why I threw in a rush fee to get it out in less than 2 weeks. No way in hell I'm going to wait for 6-10 weeks for it!
