    Ordered my first real kilt!

To celebrate landing my first real job out of school after six months of poverty, and to celebrate being given the blessing to wear my step-family's tartan, I just a placed an order for a Farquharson casual kilt and accessories. Before this I've only had a black 5.11 kilt, this will be my first true tartan kilt. Went with cream and black hose, the red economy flashes because I'm still unsure on how to incorporate them, a Masonic kilt pin, and a leather strap for the nylon sporran I'll be using. Six weeks of anticipation begins now!

You are going to love your new kilt!!!

Rocky and his crew do first rate work! My casual fits like a dream, and though not sewn by Rocky himself, the attention to detail and care in the craftsmanship are obvious, Rocky has a great thing going over there!

Three weeks down, three to seven weeks to go. I keep going back to the site to look at the pleats, on the fence if I should have sprung for a semi-traditional. I've never owned kilt with pleats period, hoping it looks alright for formal occasions.

I love my USA Kilt. The quality is amazing, and if you're lucky you just might get some candy with your order :P

As a matter of fact, it did include candy! Keeping the business cards in my sporran for those who ask.

    Highwayman,

Looks like you were born to wear that kilt. Congratulations!

    Happy kilting.
