Guys, After a good deal of research and searching through hundreds of swatches of tweeds (and 1 false start), I found a color brown tweed that I want to weave and make into jackets and vests. If you're interested in PURCHASING ONLY please vote in the poll above. Here's a picture of the brown tweed I have decided on. It tones EXTREMELY well with Weathered tartans (but could really be worn with any kilt). If you're interested in getting in on this special run, please vote in the poll above. The prices for this jacket will be the same as our regular jackets (even though it's custom), so long as we can meet a minimum number (probably 8 to 10 jackets). Tweed Jacket AND Vest - $440 ($490 for those over size 50) Tweed Jacket ONLY - $340 ($390 for those over size 50) Tweed Vest ONLY - $125 ($145 for those over size 50) This poll will close July 15, so if you'd like to order yours, I will be taking orders until that date. I will also sell the cloth alone (price yet to be worked out) and kilts made from this cloth. Please email me for details: rocky@usakilts.com

This shade of brown looks very close to Lochcarron's Gamekeeper brown, however, it may obviously be the computer screen distorting the true colours. Wonderful choice of tweed Rocky, and quite the jacket and waistcoat deal I must say! Cordially,

Wonderful choice of tweed Rocky, and quite the jacket and waistcoat deal I must say! Cordially, It's actually a few shades lighter than their gamekeeper tweed. It's in the same family, but just lighter. If you took a "Paint Swatch Card" from your local Lowes or Home Depot, it would be 2 or 3 shades up on the same card. Make sense?
