    Pleating to Sett vs. Stripe

I'm yearning to pick up a Semi-Traditional Kilt in Douglas Modern, I just have one question. Where on the site do I specify whether I want it pleated to the sett or the stripe?

With a 5 yard kilt your options might be limited. Best email or call Rocky to see what`s possible.

I guess I was not clear. This is the USA Kilts forum section. It is specifically to allow members direct access to Rocky at USA Kilts.
He gets an email anytime any member posts to this section.
Let's let Rocky answer the questions about pleating of his Semi Trad model shall we.

For our Casual, Semi Trad and 5 yard wool, we don't offer pleating options. We pleat the Douglas tartan to the stripe in our Semi Trad model.

For our 8 yard kilts, we DO offer pleating options to the sett or stripe.

Sorry, it came up on my screen like all the other posts. I did not notice the difference.

Rocky, thanks for your reply, and sorry to be bringing this up again after such a period of time, but when you say to the stripe, in this case do you mean "military stripe," with the white vertical line visible in each pleat, or to the horizontal color block, hiding the vertical stripe entirely?

Thank you for your patience; I'm close to pulling the trigger and want to be sure of what I'm going to get.

We'd have the white stripe centered on each pleat. We would never pleat it to "the block" (lawn chair effect) unless the customer specifically asked for that.
