Recoil
Ears still ringing from just pulling the trigger on a tank from USA Kilts.
After shopping around with some of the other advertisers on the site, it felt nice to settle in with USA Kilts. The videos, being a brick & mortar business and nice website enabled me to shop around until I felt comfortable with my purchase.
I decided on the Premier Pub Package: kilt, sporran, kilt pin, belt, buckle, hose, flashes and shirt. The package selections were nice although I purchased an additional brown belt to properly match the sporran I chose.
Needless to say, I'm thrilled and excited to wear my purchase.

And the Jonesing starts! Congrats on your purchase. You're going to really enjoy it.

Congrats! I've got a package arriving from USAKilts on Monday. Rocky has been awesome with customer service and answering my questions while I've been waiting. His shop's reputation is very high and I am confident I won't be in the least disappointed. I think we've made a good choice.

You're going to laugh, but I have already thought about where I might go to take pictures. I'm planning outfits already. It'll feel like a loooong wait.
Matty, I ended up going with Ross Hunting Modern from Lochcarron. It was a tough decision for me, but I think it will have the most versatility for my needs. I would've like more red, but my wife help me pair the tartan with some light brown accessories and I was sold. Before my kilt even arrives I've toyed with the idea of getting an ancient or muted in a casual kilt.
Hawk, a good friend and old roommate is waiting to hear from med school today in Portland. I'll always have a place to crash after the get togethers.
I love that these boards are a support group for jonesing, waiting kilt folks.

I can't wait to see pictures!
USAKilts reputation was such a big deal in my choosing process. They weren't on my radar until I came to this site. People continually praise and recommend them. I'm sure we'll both become walking billboards when we get our kilts.
I never owned a kilt while growing up in GA. My wife, daughter and I will eventually move back and we'll have to plan some huge, kilt-worthy events!
