Scruffy Wallace 5 Yard Wool
It's arrived! Apparently Rocky even rubs off on the USPS, as nobody else seems to get them to ship half-way across the country this fast
This is my first wool kilt, but I have a semi & casual from USAK already. The weight on this is fantastic, I can't wait to get my hands on a full 8 yard, heavy-weight one of these days (this one is 13 ounce). No pics, but the tartan is better in person than the images on the site (not that they're bad). The blue and green are much "earthier" and not as bright as what is shown on the site. I'm glad for this as I was a little worried that my Artificer sporran (my favorite) would look out of place as it's brown. I wore my black hunting sporran today, so I can't be sure as of right this second, but I'm betting the brown one will look great as well. I also dig the embossed straps on this model. I didn't realize they would be different than the straps on my semi-traditional. They won't likely been seen by others very often, but it's a neat little detail that I like and see every time I put it on.
As usual, kudos to Rocky and all the folks at USA Kilts, they do an outstanding job and are some of the friendliest folks I've dealt with as a consumer.

yea, yea, yea... I know, it hasn't really happened then
I'm at work & camera-less (and besides, I'm in a T-Shirt and boots, I might give a few of our members a heart-attack or something). I'll try to get some up this evening when I get home.

That's how I wear my kilts majority of the time. I rarely have a reason to dress up, so it's predominantly casual for outdoors stuff for me. Nothing wrong with that.

It's the Scruffy Wallace tartan! He wears an A-shirt and boots with his, most of the time!
Edit: I'm excited to see this because I'm getting a semi-trad in Scruffy this spring/summer.

Not an A shirt, but tshirts with the sleeves carefully cut off (to show off his 'stained glass' tattoos on his arms). Just as vain.

I've been known to wear those with a kilt too.
I'll make sure to stay dressed as is for the pics later, just keep with the Dropkick Murphys "flow"
